SCHEDULE
9:15am - Arrival in Central Park. Start location is inside Central Park on the Bridle Path entering from 90th St. & 5th Avenue. Free on-site registration and check in for pre-registered.
9:30am Check in starts
9:50am - Introductions and instructions
10am-11:30am: Segment 1*
Approximately 3 miles in the Northern part of the park from 90th Street to 110th Street roundtrip. Includes the North Woods, Davis Center, Harlem Meer, and the Conservatory Gardens.
11:45am-12:45pm: Segment 2*
Approximately 2 miles midpark from 90th Street to 72nd Street. Includes the Great Lawn, Shakespeare Theater, Belvedere Castle, The Ramble, Row Boat Lake, Bethesda Fountain and pay your own way lunch stop.
1:30pm-2:30pm: Segment 3*
Approximately 2 miles in the Southern (lower) part of the park from 72nd Street to 59th Street. Includes the Mall, Carousel, Chess & Checkers House, Wollman Rink, Gapstow Bridge, Zoo and the Pond.
6:00-7:30pm - Pay your own way Dinner at Pio Pio 8 in Hell's Kitchen.

Governors Island - General information
Ferry Information - The only way to get to Governors Island is by a short ferry ride. Please be sure to check the schedules.
Things to do - Check out all the things you can do on Governors Island. Some of these sites will be on our walk.
SCHEDULE
9:30am - Ferry to Governors Island from lower Manhattan. Reminder to give yourself plenty of travel time since the only way you can get to the island is by a short ferry ride.
9:30am Check in starts
9:40am - Arrival on Governors Island. Start location is in front of the outdoor Visitor's kiosk - straight ahead and up the stone steps as you get off the ferry at Soissons Landing.
9:50am - Introductions and instructions
10am - Fast walkers depart for 5ish miles around the island. Next group starts at 10:10am.
12:45pm - Be back at start and pick up pom poms and whistles..
1:00pm Cheer Marilyn on as she crosses the FINISH LINE! You won't want to miss this!
1:45pm - Depart by ferry to lower Manhattan.
2pm - Pay your own way victory lunch at Beckett's Sports Bar in lower Manhattan.
